Deep Fried Turkey

Using a deep, narrow pot on a gas burner outside, half fill pot with vegetable oil.
Heat to 350-360 degrees F.

Lower turkey into oil and cook for 3 minutes/Ib.
Bayou Classic (on the web) make a kit - pot, burner, thermometer, cradle for bird, etc.

It is not recommended that this should be attempted without proper equipment.

NB. This must be done outside with appropriate extinguisher.

DON'T BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN. HOT OIL IS VERY DANGEROUS
