The main reason that we've come across for this seems to be that many people also have other media players, such as Real Player or Winamp, on their computer as well. If you've downloaded or upgraded such players since you installed Windows Media Player then your computer may have assumed this is your new default media player.
You may be able to solve this by following these instructions:

Go to 'Start'
Go to 'Programme Access and Defaults' (depending on your Windows version you may find this in 'Control Panel')
Go to 'Custom'
Go to 'Choose A Default Media Player'
Click on 'Window Media Player'

You'll still be able to use Real Player, Winamp and other media players but, when you click on 'Listen Live' above, your computer should now automatically use your Windows Media Player to open the live feed audio link.

Do I need to access the Listen Live page on the website every time I want to hear South Hams Radio Online?

No, you should be able to make this service instantly available via a desktop icon on your frontpage by following the instructions below:
Click right on the 'Listen Live' button above
Go to 'Save Target As' then save the file to 'My Documents'
Go to 'My Documents', find the file you've just saved
Click right on the file, then 'Send To' and 'Send To Desktop/Create Shortcut'

You should now see a new icon on your desktop frontpage which, when clicked, should instantly connect you to our online output.
